Family photojournaling Session
Here are a few little things to remember:
Let the kids get dirty, jump on the bed, and lick the counter. Unless they are usually perfectly behaved. ;)
I'm there to document your real life, and real life with little ones usually includes some tantrums or tears. Am I right? No need to bribe them to behave or smile for the camera. My goal is to help them feel comfortable and in their element so I can capture those personalities and quirks you love so much.
Feel free to get snacks, change diapers, and do all the little things you normally do.
You don't need to deep clean your house. Really. If you want to pick up the clutter (or shove it in the closet), that's fine. But don't worry about making it spotless. Remember that I'm a mom too, so I know what a lived in house looks like and by this point I'm pretty expert at working around it.
Wear comfortable clothes that you feel like yourself in. Keep in mind that since families usually don't hang out at home dressed in matching outfits or dressy clothes, it looks a little unnatural in photos. The only little thing I ask is that you avoid wearing bright neon colors, big logos or words on shirts. Easy peasy, right?
After the session:
I will pick the very best images from the session and edit each one until it's just right. After about two weeks I'll have your images ready for delivery. I'll email you a link to your gallery and a password that will allow you to easily download the digital images.
Videos require more time to edit and typically take an additional 2-3 weeks.
Now if you'll just fill out this little questionnaire I'll make sure I capture exactly what YOU want to remember about your life right now.
Thanks! I'm excited to read it!
